Today we went for a ride with Dave and Mary, and their daughter Carrie. We have been living in Dave and Mary's driveway this week and it has been most wonderful. Dave supplied us with all our bike routes around Portland, and they cooked a wonderful steak dinner our first night in town. Their driveway even has full hookups for the motor home, and we had our own shower/bathroom in basement. On our second night in town Carrie cooked us fresh salmon and whitefish that her husband Craig caught in the Pacific ocean (life is rough). We went on a beautiful ride through the hills, farms, nurseries, and wineries west of Beaverton, and stopped at a winery for a tasting towards the end of the ride. Pat and I even took a couple of bottles home with us on the bike.
We stopped and had lunch on the bikes before returning back to Dave and Mary's house. Great day.
